Church Sued for God Injury
According to news reports [Fox.com and 6Wates.com], a Tennesse man is sueing his local church for injuries sustained during worship. Apparently, he was SO consumed by the Holy Spirit, he fell and hit his head.
The Church's insurance company refused to cover his medical expenses from his supposed two surgeries prompting the 57 yr old to sue the church.
According to the Tennesse man, the pastor should have made sure somebody caught him!
****
Allow me to opine, that pastor shoulda been like Cain and inquired, "What am I? My brother's keeper?"
Plus it seems to me that he's sueing the wrong party. *pointedly looks towards heaven*

Re: Church Sued for God Injury
I do...
Surprisingly... this man was filled with the Holy Spirit at the time of the incident.
I would think he would have had a forgiving heart during all this worship
But at the end of it all, he goes to sue the church...
Which leaves me to question:
Was he really experiencing The Holy Spirit?
I can't say that I've been "on Fire" in worship, but I would expect it would be a real good thing to be that close to God. So why sue?
Maybe I'm just being silly...
