Re: PRAYER OF THE DAY
A PRAYER FOR THE DRAGONS
Space Time Dragon,
Great Crystal Dragon --
Make your God Self,
Forge your Reality.
Space Time Dragon,
Great Crystal Dragon --
Arise from the Depths,
We dance before your Power.
Space Time Dragon,
Great Crystal Dragon --
Enter unto this Place,
We dance before our Power.
Space Time Dragon,
Great Crystal Dragon --
Arise to the Heights,
Return with greatest Power.
Space Time Dragon,
Great Crystal Dragon.
And as we go back to the caves bless all dragons.
Space Time Dragon,
Great Crystal Dragon --
Make your God Self,
Forge your Reality.
Space Time Dragon,
Great Crystal Dragon --
Arise from the Depths,
We dance before your Power.

Re: PRAYER OF THE DAY
PRAYERS FOR ROCKERS
And right here in the central core,
this is where we spend our days,
finding things, digging and digging,
and pulling things out of the underworld,
the earth.
Hordes of people are looking into the store.
Cut.
Follow a large metal trash can as it arches over the heads of the crowd towards a large plate glass window which is the front of the store.
Cut to a close up of a reflection in the glass as it shatters away, revealing the turmoil inside the superstore.
There seems to be someone with a sniper's weapon, up inside the store, guarding the cash register, firing indiscriminately into the crowd.
The crowd moves like a school of fish, and then piles into the store.
There is screaming.
There are close-ups of blood pouring out of people.
There is more screaming.
And there is more blood.

Re: PRAYER OF THE DAY
PRAYER FOR RASTAFERIAN
Princess shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall stretch forth her hand unto God. Oh thou God of Ethiopia, thou God of divine Majesty, they spirit come within our hearts to dwell in the parts of righteousness. That the hungry be fed, the sick nourished, the aged protected, and the infant cared for. Teach us love and loyalty as it is in Zion.
Deliver us from the hands of our enemy that we may prove faithful for the last day, when our enemy has passed, and decayed in the depth of the sea or in the belly of the beast.
O' Give us a place in they Kingdom forever and ever.
So we haile our God Selassie I, Jehovah God Rastafari, Almighty God, Rastafari great and terrible God Rastafari.
Who sit in Zion and reigned in the hearts of men, and women; hear and bless us and sanctify, and cause they loving face to shine up on us thy children threat we may be saved.
Selah.
Amen

Re: PRAYER OF THE DAY
Hold on there. Lets not get carried away by having a prayer for every 'group' (contradtictory to what I said before). Some (like myself) may now interpret it as a mockery of some sort.
The prayers were interesting though, I must admit this.

Re: PRAYER OF THE DAY
O God, when I have food,
help me to remember the hungry;
When I have work,
help me to remember the jobless;
When I have a home,
help me to remember those who have no home at all;
When I am without pain,
help me to remember those who suffer,
And remembering,
help me to destroy my complacency;
bestir my compassion,
and be concerned enough to help;
By word and deed,
those who cry out for what we take for granted.
Amen."

Re: PRAYER OF THE DAY
Bear in mind, there aren't onli ppl from other religions but there are also ppl who don't necessarily believe in a god *full stop. So as Snyper said, the prayer may actually be disrespectful to some people. Also, personally I think this chatroom should be sed to like discuss religious topics of interest. That's jus my suggestion though.

Re: PRAYER OF THE DAY
The problem I'm facing, is that you seem to be forcing one view or another on the other members. I believe the administrator created the religion section, to discuss things like egyptology for instance. We need to keep the beliefs of other members in mind, when we post.
Re: PRAYER OF THE DAY
I agree partially, not too sure if anyone here knows anything about egyptology, minus the whole moses story. Snyper, would you care to share.

Re: PRAYER OF THE DAY
Keep making your posts. The administrator, will step in and discuss the nature of the posts. I guess there would be input from other members pouring in as well.
Re: PRAYER OF THE DAY
Thank you snyper for the encouragement but if am not pleasing no one what is the point of posting?

Re: PRAYER OF THE DAY
Jr, I'm asking you to post as you normally would, or I'll have to do a roll-back on the thread (before you had concerns about how the posts were done).
