Re: What is Your Favorite language??
I'll stick with Spanish, since its so practical (for general use internationally). Richirich, may disagree, and choose Japanese instead. I find Japanese a bit too 'flimsy' by diction. It requires a very constant tone when speaking, so that the syllables will not be misunderstood by the typical listener

Re: What is Your Favorite language??
I think counting in French and Japanese is much more interesting. The counting you used, is indeed correct, but it just doesn't follow a logical pattern (in my opinion).

how so snyper, ein sounds like one, zen like ten, sieben like seven, acht, eight,.................
Funfs sech sieben, acht, nuen, sound like nasal counting in english.
einhundert, say it out loud, sounds just like one hundred.
ichi, ni, san, shi, go, ruko, (or watev) sounds like a bunch crazy baby talk when i was learning it....german in my opinion is definitely the easier to follow of the two.

Re: What is Your Favorite language??
I honestly, hadn't thought about it that way. I think I'll still be sticking to my Spanish (followed by Japanese).
What's your favourite language??
Watashi wa nihonjin ga suki desu.
Sumimasen Shinaiperu . I like Japanese. It's not just the language but the different expressions that can be used and the complexity of it too. If I could have a second language/culture it would be JAPANESE!!! They bring so much to the world and yet people think its from America... Everybody know the basis of modern technology is Japan.
In the (hilarious) future.... there will be two brands:
- Made in Japan
- Not Made in Japan
Sorry for going overboard...
German rocks too E nomine

Japanese rocks!!!, then Chinese, then Spanish, then madey Korean (since we learn it a little in Tai Kwon Do)
English Sucks!!!
i also like Furbish (the language the furbies talk when you first start playing with them, then they eventually convert to english)
i also like listening to music in other languages (even though i might not know what they are saying)
then there are a bunch of made-up languages is learnt from watching different shows when i was younger..... like Ubi Dubi (from watching too much 'Zoom')
and Atlantean (from Disney's atlantis), it has a dictonary and language structure and such, but i cant speak it
