This piece really does capture the essence of beauty and the beast....its detail to me is quite stunning, from the details of the woman's dress to the wings of both the woman and the man....although he is supposedly evil he still holds the woman with tenderness.....I love this piece

yeah the dress detail was breath taking but i thought a little more detail could gone into the faces, especially the man's.
But on a whole, great work.

well true, the detailing in especially the eye areas is a bit sketchy but its really a beautiful piece

Its just so weird that the man would really be called 'the beast', as he looks pretty harmless (as he holds her with such tenderness).

his touch seems harmless enough but look at the intensity in his face, his whole expression and the colour of his eyes, it looks as if the tender touch could turn sour at any moment
